As the main external supplier of sugarcane to CAEI’s Sugar Factory, La Finca Unidad must comply with all sustainability standards established by Bonsucro and ProTerra.
These non-profit entities certify agricultural practices that promote sustainable economic performance, while encouraging social welfare and environmental preservation.
The sugarcane produced in our fields is sustainable, since we use natural resources rationally and always take care of the communities near our facilities. Likewise, La Finca Unidad’s processes contribute to reduce atmospheric emissions, reuse the generated waste, and reduce the use of water, making rational use of this resource.

Occupational Health, Safety and Hygiene Certification (2018)
Certification granted by the Department of Safety and Industrial Hygiene of the Ministry of Labor of the Dominican Republic.
Social Responsibility
A solidarity fund to transform lives
La Finca Unidad’s Managerial Responsibility Fund is financed by the monthly and voluntary contributions of our employees. The raised funds are then used to improve the homes of people living in communities near our sugarcane plantations. At La Finca Unidad we work in unity, we pursue our goals in unity, and we continue to strive for collective growth in unity.
